Nicole Bowen

I'm a freelance journalist based in the UK, working across print, audio and digital platforms. I have a strong interest in political reporting with a focus on environmental issues and how these are impacted by finance and business. 

I'm driven by a love of travelling in nature and understanding how people and environments can shape one another.

Outside of this, you can catch me writing about London’s underground music scene, where I cover interesting live shows and groundbreaking new artists.

I achieved an MSc with distinction in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London (UCL), where I focused on how communities and ecosystems interact to tackle environmental challenges.

Previously, I studied Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I explored international systems, social change and the political questions that drive public debate.
